Inspector Chuck Mason updated the Board on the Police Complaint Report, the PCR is an end of the year round up of instances and trends that stem from police interactions with the community. Board members called attention to some troubling implications and asked for further clarification of the report’s details. Assistant Chief Victor Green also previewed a new KDPS Cadet program launching in 2025. The board also congratulated the K9 unit, specifically Canine Sledge and his handler PSO Max Howman, for receiving the Spike K9 of the Year award.
