Michigan’s ten-cent deposit laws reduce the number of cans and bottles on our roads, parks, and neighborhoods. The decades’ old law was created soda and beer sales dwarfed non-carbonated drinks, especially water. But as people’s habits have changed and bottled water sales more than double those of sodas and beer, should bottled water also be a part of our ten-cent deposit law?
