A Cocktail Created to A-Maize You

PMN volunteer Antonina Gramatnikovska interviewed her brother, Teodor Gramatnikovski, who happens to be an extremely creative bartender at Dabney & Co. about a drink that looks more like a part of breakfast than a night out. The Maize and Frankie Beverly cocktail includes rum, spices, sweet cream, and corn!

The interview was conducted in part for Restaurant Week, but also to give interns hands-on experience working with cameras, lighting, sound, and editing.

Dabney & Co. dark and moody setting meant that camera operators, interns Alex J. and Talal S., had to using additional lighting and creative shooting techniques to make the cocktail pop on screen.

Public Media Network believes in uplifting our community, including students from area schools majoring in film, journalism, and video production.

We are offering internships in the fall as well as an advanced journalism-focused fellowship, the Frank Jamisen Fellowship.

If you know of any students who may be interested in an internship or fellowship, please email us at hello@publicmedianet.org.
