Heres an inside look at how our community changes, here are the highlights from the April 16, 2024 City of Kalamazoo Historic District Commission meeting. WIth approvals from the Commission the owner of 808 W South will be adding a third-story rear porch to a Queen Anne style Vine neighborhood home built in 1900, 621 South Park will be adding to the east side of a Vine neighborhood home built in 1980, and 507 South Westnedge will be installing a sign for this Stuart neighborhood church. The Commission reviewed the Annual Report and will soon be joining with the Preservation Commission as they attend the Historic Preservation Network Conference on the WMU Campus May 9-11
