Access Kalamazoo - A Closer Look at the January 27, 2026 Kalamazoo NFPRB Meeting
On January 27 this year, the Kalamazoo Natural Features Protection Review Board met to review a request made by Statewide Rentals LLC to take five parcels of land on West Cork Street to the city Zoning Board of Appeals in the hopes of turning the land – a heavily wooded and sloped area – into rental housing. Access Kalamazoo reporter Tobias Pixler believes it’s important to make people aware of the event, as no one outside of the board and those involved in the development plan attended the meeting and not many of us may have watched the meeting live.
