All Stories Matter – Toni Kennedy, a veteran for all veterans

Toni Kennedy remembers her experiences in the United States military as life-changing, eye-opening episodes that helped her mature into the person she is today, a woman on a mission. She recently turned that mission into a 501c3, Kalamazoo-based, organization making sure all “people who have served” in the military understand and partake in the many direct and ancillary opportunities offered by local and state agencies. Even though I have several family members who’ve served in the military, it was not until I heard Toni’s story did I understand and appreciate the armed services then and now. When I see a veteran now, I will sincerely say, “Thanks for your service.”
