When Mr. Bellal left his school in Egypt to teach at the Kalamazoo Public Schools, he knew that he would learn as much as his new students. Part of the Teaching Critical Language Program, Mr. Bellal is one of 21 teachers who have come to the U.S. to teach high-demand languages like Arabic, Mandarin, Spanish, and others. Kalamazoo, like other Michigan cities, is home to many Arabic-speaking families making Mr. Bellal a great choice for our schools.
