Rotary Club Builds Pollinator Garden in Hays Park

On Tuesday, September 23, 2025, Kalamazoo Rotarians, Rotaractors, and local volunteers gathered at Hays Park to plant a vibrant pollinator garden. While it is a small-scale project, it aims to support bees, butterflies, and other pollinators, creating lasting environmental impact while also strengthening local connections. The effort is a continued collaboration between the Rotary Club, OCBA Landscape Architects, and the City of Kalamazoo, who provided mulch and ongoing watering support. Featured in the video is Sandra Bliesener, Rotary Club Member, who led the installation with support from fellow Rotarians, Rotaractors, friends, and neighbors.
