Civic Snapshot: August 4, 2025 Kalamazoo City Commission

In the Regular Meeting the commission discussed the approval of an agreement to establish the Kalamazoo County Event Center Assessment District. The commission also addressed ongoing public concerns regarding ICE activities and some commissioners emphasized the importance of protecting all residents. Commissioners expressed their support for community safety and discussed ongoing projects, including the Police Athletic League and infrastructure improvements.
