Deniz is the master baker and owner of Brot & Butter, an Artisan Bakery “Born in Germany, baked in Kalamazoo.”
Her mother loved to bake back home in Germany, filling Deniz’ youth with the aromas, warmth, and tradition of homemade baked goods. This upbringing fueled a dream of starting a sustainable business, and that’s where Can-Do Kalamazoo was able to help lift Deniz’ work to new heights.
Can-Do Kalamazoo was able to help Brot & Butter master the marketing, distributing, and confidence it takes to succeed. Through workshops, business camps and one-on-one consultations, Deniz was able to hone the skills she uses to share the taste of Germany with her community here in Kalamazoo.
