Consideration of large scale battery charging and storage facilities continue in the May 23, 2024 Comstock Charter Township Planning Commission – here are the meetings highlights. The Commission reviewed a Presentation on solar and battery storage in consideration of the future development of a workable ordinance either setting requirements designed by local township or state government. Benefits of ordinance through the township would be quicker than having to go through the state. The Ordinance has further adjustments to be made before a public hearing can be set.
